In Loving Memory of Ernest Langton: A Devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Pastor
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest Langton, a man of deep faith and unwavering love, who went to be with the Lord on the 7th of September, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on July 6, 1951, Ernest was more than just a husband, father, and grandfather—he was a pillar of his family, a beacon of light to his community, and a servant of God as a dedicated pastor at the Assemblies of God Church.
Ernest’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and service. He leaves behind his devoted wife, three children, and nine grandchildren, each of whom he cherished deeply. His family was his heart, and he spent every moment showing them the love and care that only a man of his character and faith could give. Whether he was offering wise counsel or a comforting embrace, his presence was a constant reminder of God’s grace.
As a pastor, Ernest devoted himself to sharing the message of hope, love, and salvation with his congregation. His sermons were more than just words—they were a reflection of the life he lived, grounded in compassion and truth. He touched countless lives, guiding people through their faith journeys and reminding them of God’s everlasting love. His congregation knew him as a man who embodied the teachings of Christ, always giving more of himself than he received in return.
Ernest’s sudden passing from a stroke has left his family and community heartbroken, grappling with the loss of a man whose kindness, wisdom, and faith shaped the lives of so many. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void, but his legacy will continue through the love he poured into his family, his faith, and his ministry.
During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your support. The financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to the community Ernest loved and served for assistance. Your donations will not only help give him the dignified farewell he deserves but will also provide much-needed support for his grieving family as they adjust to life without him.
Ernest lived his life in service to others, and now we have an opportunity to honor that life by coming together as a community to show the same love and support that he so freely gave. Your generosity, whether in the form of prayers, donations, or sharing this message, will be a profound blessing during this time of sorrow.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion as we remember and celebrate the extraordinary life of Ernest Langton—a man who lived fully in his faith, loved without measure, and leaves behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
With gratitude and love,
The Langton Family
