Ernie Warnock's Memorial Fund
Ernie Warnock, and his beloved dog Mabel, were tragically taken from this life on March 11th, and his house burned to the ground. The case surrounding his death and the fire is on-going at this time.
My name is Jacqe Springer and I live inDecatur, NE, with my husband Tim. I've known Ernie since 1970 when he was a senior at Walthill High School and I was a sophomore who had just moved to town. He was one of my husband Tim's best friends from the time they were young. We spent a lot of time with him and his girlfriend/wife for a number of years. I recently had just happily reconnected with Ernie and now the opportunity to enjoy his friendship in our later years has been stolen.
Ernie was a well-liked, soft-spoken, caring man who had many friends and relatives, the majority in northeast Nebraska. Ernie was the proverbial man who would "give you the shirt off his back."
Ernie's daughters, Lacey and Becca, are taking on the responsibility for a funeral, to be held at a later time, and internment. This fund has been set up to assist them with funeral and internment expenses. Lacy is the only one with authority to access the funds for her and Becca.
My hope is this will be a way for those who loved Ernie to do something in his honor and help his family.
