Hi! My name is Marina. I have set this page up for my sweet Eros. He is battling cancer and we need your help. Any donation is so appreciated and will go to all his hospital bills and treatment. Thank you so much in advance ❤️ Now let me tell you a little about our boy.

Eros is a very special dog and he has been from day 1. We rescued him when he was only 12 weeks old. He had a very sad past because 7 of his siblings were killed by a man who suffocated them and then threw them in dumpsters. Eros was one of the lucky 5 that were saved. He is the most incredible dog… I often say he is more human than dog. He is the best big brother to my daughter and 2 sons (and also to his puppy brother). He’s been my kids’ guardian since he heard their heartbeats in my belly.

He’s 9 years old and was in very good health until a few days ago when he collapsed and we had to rush him to the hospital. He needed immediate surgery after a very large mass was found via ultrasound in his abdomen. It turned out to be a large tumor on his spleen. The tumor and his spleen were removed successfully but had unfortunately spread to surrounding organs.

The surgery cost us almost 6k….

We are going to do whatever we can to prolong his life while keeping his quality of life….

I myself have had cancer twice and Eros has been there right by my side through it. He has gotten me through the darkest times in my life, not just mine… my whole family. My 7 year old daughter says he is her best friend and she can’t live without him. I know the day will come when she/we will have to, but now is not the time. Now is the time to fight with him. He has saved my life so many times and now all I want to do is save his. I know he has more life to live.

We have been researching and considering different kinds of alternative treatments, that is definitely the route we want to take. However, it’s going to get very pricey to do so. That is where all of the money will go, towards our very high vet bills we already have, the high vet bills we will have once we start monitoring with ultrasounds and bloodwork, and the Hollistic alternative treatments we want to do for him.
