Ersek Family Home Fund

Our names are Michael and Diana Winter. We have started this gofundme in support of our very close friends of almost 20 years, Lynn, Drew, Keith and Linda Ersek. On December 30th, Boulder County was tragically hit with grass fires that spread rapidly, destroying over 1600 acres of land, 600+ homes and commercial properties in a highly populated area of Colorado. Winds of 110MPH+ ripped across Boulder County spreading the fire into an uncontrollable disaster within minutes. Huge businesses, rec centers, police stations, fire departments, schools, shoping centers, apartment complexes, hotels and multiple subdivisions all catastrophically destroyed.
This morning around 7am, Keith, Linda and Lynn found their community completed torched. As they approached where their home of 25+ years used to stand, and saw that all that remained was ash, dirt and rubble, it was impossible to describe the overwhelming emotions that flooded all of them. The Ersek Family is the kindest, most open hearted and genuinely caring family we have ever met in our life. No one deserves to suffer from such a loss, and it pains us to see every physical posession they own destroyed, but the emotional burden is far beyond the loss of material posessions. Our goal is to help ease the emotional burden by helping them replace what they can and find a place to live in the process. Please help to support this amazing family as they work through this tragedy along with so many others in the area. Yes there are immediate needs, but ultimately, they need a new home. 100% of your donation will go directly to the Ersek Family to help them rebuild. We have set the goal at $10,000.00, but truly believe that we can beat this. We can't think of a more deserving family for our support.
