Help make our front garden accessible for Naomi

My partner Naomi is an autistic 25 year old severely disabled young lady with numerous complex health conditions, including rare ones.

Naomi has an Assistance Dog called Alfie that she dedicates her life to and intends to spend lots of time with him. They are the best of friends and inseparable.

Naomi’s health is continuing to deteriorate and she is due to start an immunosuppressant chemotherapy medication to try and control her rare disease called Behçet’s Disease. Behçet’s causes severe inflammation of the blood vessels resulting in body wide, multi system inflammation. It’s as a result of the immune system being over active and mistakenly attacking healthy cells within the body. The symptoms vary between individuals and it’s believed less than 3,000 in the UK live with the disease. High levels of inflammation in the body causes numerous complications and symptoms. Behçet’s disease is often misunderstood due to the vast amount of symptoms associated with it.

Naomi’s biggest goal in life is to do as much as possible with Alfie and adventure with him. Naomi loves the outdoors and would love to see some natural waterfalls however realistically her main goal is to renovate our front garden so it is accessible and get a swinging egg chair. Doing so would enable Naomi and Alfie to sit outside together in the nicer weather and enjoy the outdoors even when she isn’t feeling fantastic. I would be able to support Naomi getting to and from the front garden and it’d be a nice change of scenery for her to enjoy on days when she’s too unwell to go far ❤️

There is a fair amount of work required to make a patio area to enable the space for Naomi and Alfie to enjoy.

If the fundraiser raised more than the cost of the front garden the funds would then go on Naomi & Alfie adventuring (and hopefully getting them to a natural waterfall!) ❤️
