Relief for Dominica-Hurricane Maria
Donation protected
At about 8pm on September 18th, 2017, Hurricane Maria ravaged the small Caribbean island of Dominica. It made landfall as a Cat5 with apocalyptic outcomes. The island where I grew up until age 20 is now totally decimated. Anything which was in her path was either destroyed or swept away by raging waters.
About 90% of houses lost their roofs. Most roads, ports and bridges were severely damaged. There is no electrical power or running water now and residents are in much need of the basics such as bottle water, casual clothes, non-perishable food, canned meals, tarpaulins and generators.
Funds collected here will be used to purchase basic items in bulk for shipment to Dominica, ASAP.
Your immediate assistance to aid my fellow citizens is greatly appreciated!
