Who is Eryn Brovont?

For those who know Eryn, you probably immediately think of these words; fun, sassy, loving, caring and a very strong woman. A supportive wife and an encouraging, loving mother. She is also a successful business owner committed to providing the best to her clients and providing people with opportunities for jobs. You also know that where you will find Eryn, you will also find her perfect other-half, Bob, most likely at the beach fishing. Many of you have had your home serviced with Eryn, eaten Bob's delicious meals, or even been to some of their chill and grill pool parties to know they are both amazing people. They are the most fun, laid-back people I've ever met. And would choose to be late somewhere if it meant helping a friend or family. We must not forget about the sweet Annabelle, their only daughter. The timid, quiet, sweet and caring Annabelle. We know where she gets all those qualities from! ;o)

The Diagnosis

Several weeks ago, Eryn went to the doctor due to continued concerns with numbing and tingling sensations in her arms and hands. She has been chalking it up to carpal tunnel from all those years of doing hair. As the symptoms progressed, the numbness increased, and she started getting into dizzy spells. After a few tests, the local doctors sent her to Gainsville to see a Neurosurgeon. But no matter when I saw Eryn, she was always in good spirits and never complained a lot about any pain. She was always full of joy.

July 28th, 2022. The day Bob and Eryn usually celebrate their wedding anniversary. Except today would be different. After an early morning drive to Gainsville, some additional tests, and a lengthy discussion with the Neurosurgeon, they did not get the answers or news they were hoping for.

Once thought of carpal tunnel, they would find out that Eryn has a BRAIN TUMOR behind her eyes, blocking fluid from draining her spine. Their world became cloudy and confused. But they know how important it is to keep their faith and believe everything will work out just fine.

What's Next?

The doctors what to remove this brain tumor ASAP. They have already scheduled her brain surgery for August 16th, which is very soon. Eryn will be hospitalized for a minimum of 3 days after completing the surgery. They will also send the tumor to the lab to determine if it is benign. Please pray for every step Bob and Eryn have to prepare for these next weeks. Brain surgery is a HUGE surgery, and they need comfort, support, encouragement and prayers.

How Can You Help?

Brain Surgery is NOT a cheap surgery. Even with insurance, you are still responsible for up to 50%. Eryn's surgery is going to cost about $200,000.

This cost does not include hospital stays, medicines, or required physical therapy. As a small local business owner, Eryn will be out of work for quite a while to allow her to heal. Therefore, she may need to shut down her business until she can return to work. This will put a lot of strain on Bob to take care of Eryn, Annabelle, the house, his job and catering business.

They NEED our help. As a community that all loves Bob, Eryn and Annabelle, it is our turn and job to help support them as much as possible.
