VOLUNTARIADO y COMPARTIRIADO

en VENEZUELA - PETARE - LOS TEQUES

Como cada verano, la Fundación Hakuna organiza un voluntariado para servir en las zonas más pobres y necesitadas del mundo. Este año iremos unos 40 españoles a Petare y a Los Teques, dos de los barrios más pobres de Venezuela y de todo mundo. En estos barrios visitaremos a personas mayores que no se puedan mover de sus casas, daremos de comer a 1500 personas todos los días, organizaremos campamentos de verano para los niños más desfavorecidos, visitaremos un hospital... En resumen, trataremos de llegar a todos los que podamos para ayudarles en lo que podamos y mostrarles que, independientemente de su circunstancias personales, tienen dignidad y merecen ser amados.

Ante todas estas iniciativas hace falta que se unan voluntarios venezolanos que nos acompañen, pero la enorme inflación que sufre su país y el coste de vida en relación al salario medio les hace muy difícil pagar los 200$ que costará la comida, el alojamiento y la logística en general.

Por todo esto, pedimos ayuda para que podamos financiar parte de los costes de manutención de estos voluntarios venezolanos. El objetivo sería poder financiar hasta 100$ de cada uno de los 40 voluntarios venezolanos que nos acompañarán, por lo que si alcanzásemos la cifra de 4000$ haríamos mucho más fácil la participación de estos voluntarios en los proyectos mencionados, llegando de tal forma a muchas más personas que lo necesiten.

Like every summer, the Hakuna Foundation organizes a volunteering trip to serve in the most poor and needed areas of the world. This year about 40 of us from Spain are going to Petare and Los Teques, two of the poorest neighborhoods in Venezuela and of the world. In these neighborhoods we will visit elderly people who cannot move from their homes, we will feed 1500 people every day, we will organize summer camps for the most disadvantaged children... In short, we will try to reach out to everyone we can to help them with whatever they need and show them that, regardless of their personal circumstances, they have dignity and deserve to be loved.

It will be important for Venezuelan volunteers to join us in this experience, but the enormous inflation that this country is suffering and the increasing costs of living in relation to the average salary makes it very difficult for anyone to pay the $200 to cover costs of food, accommodation and logistics in general.

Therefore, we ask for your help so that we can finance part of the costs for the Venezuelan volunteers. The goal would be to finance up to $100 from each of the 40 Venezuelan volunteers who will accompany us, so if we reached the figure of $4000 we would make it much easier for these volunteers to participate in the projects mentioned, reaching many more people in need.
