ESCAPING HOMOPHOBIC HARASSMENT; Please help!

Fundraising for rent money for three disabled roommates and a four-year-old! EVERY BIT HELPS!!!

The upstairs tenants have been harassing us since the day we moved in. We've had homophobic slurs screamed at us, our mail and property stolen and destroyed (including crushed packages and a child being told to take a baseball bat to our garden), our pipes deliberately plugged with tampons, and our work disrupted by children being sent to the windows to scream at us, among other things. Recently, they've escalated to trying to break in through the shared door in the middle of the house, which only locks from their side, and constant noise harassment in the form of a high-pitched tone being played at all hours of the day — which aggravates those of us with chronic migraines, along with the stomping, running, and screaming they encourage their children to do.

Because a child is living here half the time, we finally broke down and had to stay in a hotel for a few days, fearing for our safety. We have called the police several times, but we've been informed to 'talk to our landlord' — helpful! So far, we’ve been asked to fill out complaint forms that will help our landlord evict them, but there’s no telling how long that will take. Because of this (and a traumatising SWAT raid in January, which ended with guns pointed at all adult members of the household, a fractured wrist for one of us from where the police grabbed her, and the four-year-old being unable to reach her father) we're not expecting much help from law enforcement in the future. The money we're raising is to cover the unexpected expenses of the hotel stay, and make ends meet until hopefully something can be done about our attackers.
