Esight For Nicholas Roberts
Donation protected
My son Nicholas Roberts was born October 1st of 1998 with Optic nerve hyperplasia. Optic nerve hypoplasia (ONH) is a medical condition arising from the underdevelopment of the optic nerve(s). This condition is the most common congenital optic nerveanomaly. The optic disc appears abnormally small, because not all the optic nerve axons have developed properly. Thankfully, there has been a revolutionary development and e-sight is leading the way. Today we were able to have a private demonstration for Nicholas using the E site 3 technology. It was absolutely amazing. Our son was able to see the world as he has never seen it. Once we were able to walk outside, His mother asked him "how does the world look" His response was priceless and tear jerking he said "it is more beautiful than I thought".. This was just moments after reading with twenty twenty vision for the 1st time in his life. Once you take the time to watch the video you will totally understand why we are trying to raise the money for him to attain this technology and experience life in a whole new light. The E site glasses are $10,000. Any money acquired after that will go to allowing Nicholas to attain other assistive technolgy that help him in life . And give him the ability to travel and see the beautiful world that for the last 20 years he has not been able to see in detail. Thank you in advance for all the love and support! God-bless!! - Ben & Cassandra Roberts
