Esolperth Cape Wrath Run

Esolperth is a charity which aims to help people of all ages and backgrounds who want to learn to speak or improve their English. It is a welcoming, social space where people who may have faced significant challenges can feel safe and supported.

Many people have had to flee their homes because they are unsafe there. In recent times significant numbers of Ukrainians have faced this issue and are amongst those accessing Esol's services. Esoperth has been supporting up to 100 people

The English classes are tailored to the needs of those attending, including those with no English at all.

As well as the classes, esol offers practical support to those accessing their service. This includes helping eligible people find and engage in employment.

There are also a variety of social activities organised, which can offer fun, distraction and peer support to people who may have experienced significant trauma.
