Esophagus Surgery for Lara

Hey  friends, this is the first time we ever started a go fund page me...but here goes. I  was asked by many to start this page to get some help from our neighbors and friends and we are so grateful.  We didn't event think of this but we will take any help we can to  get our baby better.

As you know our sweet puppy Lara that we just adopted is having some serious issues and cannot keep food down. We took her to the Newtown Emergency Animal Hospital today and she has an enlarged aka mega esophagus that requires surgery in order to get her to be able to eat properly. It most likely was something she was born with and it didn't help she was severely malnourished from her original owner.  Dr. Porter said it will be very costly, about $6,000.00 plus.. we also got a second opinion and they said this is indeed the issue and only option to help our girl. As you know we just adopted her on Saturday and are madly in love so saving her is our only option. When I spoke to the rescue group we adopted her from, they said they will not be able to cover any costs for the surgery... because they don’t have the funding. We are completely heartbroken! 

Thank you all for being there for us, as you know its been quite a year for our family but we are still kicking butt and are blessed, we just want to get our girl healthy.
