Esperanza and Luis Corral's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Overwhelmed by the sudden loss of two beloved family members, Esperanza Corral and Luis Corral, we find ourselves in the need to ask the community, friends, and family for help.

On January 5, 2021, at 9 AM we received the call that our beloved grandmother, Esperanza Corral had passed away. Two hours later, at 11 AM, we received another phone call that her son, our uncle, Luis Corral, had passed away also from Covid-19.

Esperanza was a mother of 6, grandmother of 13, and great grandmother of 3. Esperanza was the embodiment of her name-- Hope. When we received the news that she contracted Covid-19 we were at a loss for words. She, and the rest of her household, were extremely cautious and never left their home. Esperanza was a high-risk person. She battled with diabetes for 40 years, was on dialysis for 10 years, and was blind and was in a wheelchair. Despite her health issues, Esperanza never failed to stay strong and always lived her life to the fullest. She was loved by many and gave everyone unconditional love.

Two hours after we received the news about Esperanza, we received another call that her son, Luis Corral, had also passed away. Luis was only 30 years old and would’ve turned 31 at the end of this month on January 31. Luis left behind his twin brother Francisco. His brother Francisco is currently hospitalized and fighting Covid-19. Luis and Fransico were best friends. One could not talk about Luis without mentioning Francisco, and vice versa. To everyone who knew him, Luis was everyone’s Luisito. To those who barely met him, he was shy and quiet, but once he opened up he was full of conversation. He was so sweet and loveable and loved playing video games and watching anime.

Their deaths have been a devastating shock to the entire family. Esperanza leaves behind her husband and now 5 children. Luis leaves behind his father, his twin brother, and other 3 siblings. Like many, we have found ourselves struggling financially during this pandemic. With this happening so suddenly, we are now at a loss trying to pay for two funerals at the same time. All money that is received will go towards their funeral expenses. In advance, thank you for your love and support through these dark times.
