Support Essence's Family

On July 23rd, a senseless act of gun violence abruptly halted Essence Naje Greene's life.
She was critically wounded and transported to Harborview Medical Center, where she fought courageously for her life until the early hours of July 26th. Essence was only 20 years old.
Essence was an embodiment of joy, love, and life itself. Her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and illuminating smile transformed any room she entered into a haven of warmth. Those privileged enough to have known her will always remember her as a force of nature and a beacon of light.
The aftermath of such a tragedy is a harrowing journey no one should walk alone. Essence's family now faces an overwhelming loss and profound grief that cannot be expressed in words. In this dark hour, we have the opportunity to come together as a community, rally in support, and stand by their side.
Your generous contributions will directly support Essence's family as they grapple with this daunting new reality. The funds raised will help mitigate unforeseen expenses, cover immediate needs, and ensure they have the resources necessary to continue honoring Essence's life and keeping her joyful spirit alive. Every donation is an act of kindness that will make a significant difference.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions, the cherished memories you share, and your comforting prayers. Together, we can support Essence's family through this storm and celebrate a life lived with love.
This fundraiser is organized by Essence's aunt, Charlene Greene, on behalf of the Greene-Madden family. Any unused funds, not spent by her family, will be contributed towards aiding victims of gun violence.
