Feeding Orphans, Treating the Sick

Hi, my name is Xander Herpel. I moved to California and am living in my car while I work to raise money to work with the Gambian Embassy. This is a charity I have committed my entire life to because if I don't then the orphans I look after will simply die.
Even now, if I do not work fast enough to raise money they will be in danger of losing their house and not have food nor medical treatment.
I was able to treat our landlord's daughter from Malaria. He was trying to collect money from his other tenants, but they had no money, so I paid for our rent and the extra $500 for medical scans and treatment. I am so thankful that all 3 children we have supported to get Malaria treatment have all recovered. It is this effort that is so dire for these people. Hunger and thirst are easily treated, but sickness is a battle that needs a lot of resources and preparation.

I work out of a small Christian community in The Gambia, which is a 96% Mulism country.
I work with a local church in The Gambia to distribute food and supplies, not just to Christians, but to all people of The Smiling Coast.

Humanitarian Aid is the mission with the help of The Gambian embassy, we will be able to send shipping containers. Building materials, medicine, life saving supplies for many people really in desperate need of government aid.

$500 dollars was given to me by a friend to send an orphan I look after to the hospital to recieve immediate life saving treatment from Malaria. After seeing my friend's kind heart and generosity, I knew that I could find support to help me save these peoples lives. My dream is to see these kids go back to school one day and be cured of their sicknesses.

Right now, I am working tirelessly to establish the nonprofit organization and raise funds to work with the embassy and continue getting food, water, medicine, and clothes to people who need it.
Working with The Gambian Embassy will allow us to provide necessary supplies to thousands of people. These supplies will allow people to repair their homes as well as receive basic necessities like medicines, food, water, and clothing.

There are 6 orphans I look after now who's parents died from Malaria in 2019, and the youngest was just 2. Seedat, the oldest was 13 and he is a brave and courageous man to share his food with the poor, because day to day he is close to starving himself. Seedat shows me that sacrifice really is to the eye of the beholder.
Is there a circumstance in life where we stop giving? Not for Seedat!
Thank you guys so much,
So much love to you all,
Xander!
