Kyudo is a traditional Japanese martial art that is centered around the practice of archery. With deep roots in Japanese history and culture, Kyudo is not merely a sport but a discipline that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual aspects.

1. Who we are

We are trying to open the first ever Japanese Archery club run by University students in Canada. Our mission is to introduce and share the beauty of Kyudo globally.

Our current goal is to create a welcoming space for both students who want to try Kyudo for the first time and those with previous experience in Kyudo, offering them an opportunity to explore and engage. We seek to start the Kyudo Club in May, but first, we need to raise funds.

2. Our Vision

Throughout the summer, we aim to host 2-4 lessons per month, each spanning 2 hours. Over the course of our 17-week program, beginners will receive comprehensive instruction on proper bow usage, arrow shooting techniques, and target hitting skills. We provide a supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow in their Kyudo journey.
