Donate to the Margaret Edwards Scholarship Fund

Hi, I'm Gemma, and that's my mom Margaret. She recently passed away and to honor her legacy as a beloved and life-long teacher, we are establishing a memorial scholarship in her name to help graduating high school students in our home state of Washington, starting next school year (2025).

To celebrate her life and passion for education, we are asking for contributions (in lieu of flowers or cards) so we can have a strong start in launching this memorial scholarship.

We're doing this because we know she would love this idea, but more importantly, we know she taught so many students who would have benefitted from something like this. Chris and I will be matching any funds raised.

Our goal is to have everything finalized by this summer. We hope to take our first scholarship applications in fall 2024 and make our first awards in spring 2025.
