50th Birthday & The Arctic Circle Residency

IT IS HAPPENING! ❄️‍❄️⚓️

I want to thank EVERYONE who donated to my gofundme from the bottom of my dancing heart!

It feels a bit unreal, after so many years of uncertainty if I will be able to go, but yesterday I indeed transferred the remaining sum to THE ARCTIC CIRCLE Residency.

I will contact everyone who donated individually as I will do a special ritual for them when I am sailing the Arctic.

I really can't believe this is happening but in the same time I can as I called it in powerfully with intention and then let it dissolve into trust (so hard to do) as I was instructed to do in April.

magic is real. energy is the hearts currency. love is all.

Dearest Friends and Family, dear Community and Artists,

As some of you might now, I applied for an artist residency in 2019 and was accepted in 2020. The expedition was postponed for various reasons, and I now finally have the chance to go end of 2024.

With my 50th Birthday coming up a dear friend suggested this approach and now I am happy she did, as this is a truly heartfelt wish of mine that has been swirling around in my head and heart for so long, yet it was never the right time, until now.

The project I first applied with has shifted substantially within the last years and is still morphing which is exciting and I am embracing the flow it has taken on.

Regarding Birthdays, they haven't been a thing for me in the last decades, besides the 30th, 40th and now the big 50th, which feels like I am finally where I belong, took me only half a lifetime to get here, and man what a ride it was! (:

Connection and togetherness can never ever be topped by any gift.

Yet this Birthday and expedition is an exception for me I am fully embracing. I am working on a special gift that I bring to the arctic for every donation. (:

I haven't been happier and more grounded in my life since I moved to the mountains in Portugal, and I am at peace. This residency participation whose seed was planted in a truly different lifetime of mine marks not only the completion of a long cycle and growing process that started in 2018 but also a new beginning. I am ready!

So, although I still find it a bit cringe, I would be ever so grateful if you feel like you want to help me fulfill my dream to take part in this once in a lifetime trip for my 50th Birthday, 3rd of May (:
