Help Jamie with her weight loss journey

My name is Jamie and I will be entering the medical weight loss program through Kaiser, my journey starts Tuesday February 25th 2020. This is not a crash diet or a surgery, this is a program that is designed and monitored by doctors. I have been fighting my weight for most of my lifetime. Due to both medical and personal reasons, my weight has reached a dangerous level that threatens my life. Through Kaiser Permanente Medical, I am enrolling in a long term weight loss program/ Monitored by medical professionals, the program includes check ups, counselling and food for over a year. I am beginning the program on February 25, 2020 and need the funds ASAP.  The program is very, very expensive and I cannot begin to afford the monthly financial requirements. The program will provide everything that I need, but the cost is exorbitant. My situation is urgent because my weight is threatening my health. My joints are failing and my ability to do even the slightest physical activity has been diminished. The following is what my best friend Aaron wrote when I told him I was entering this program and making a GoFundMe page. 

Hello all! If you know my friend Jamie , then you know what a large presence she has. She has always been a supportive and kind member of the community, as well as a strong willed empowered woman. The one battle she has not conquered is weight loss. Currently, her weight is threatening her life and her future. Today she is starting a journey towards weight loss in the healthiest way, without surgery or crash diets. She is enrolled in a new program designed by actual doctors and other professional staff through Kaiser Permanente medical. She is ready to take on this challenge, but the cost of the full program is very expensive. I’m writing this to rally her friends and loved ones for a little financial support for this journey she is taking. As many of you may know, Jamie has always thrived, from her education to her care taking abilities she’s always put others above herself. Well today she needs our support. Every cent donated will go straight into her health and will empower her even further in her goals. She has shown how strong she is by surviving Leukemia in the very middle of her crucial high school years, not only did she fight off Cancer but she also graduated on time despite spending more time in the hospital than on campus. As a child, she even saved a fellow student from choking by applying the Heimlich Maneuver. As her friend of many years, I have seen her selflessness repeat over and over and would love to see her get some support returned her way.
