Devastating House Fire

Hi, my name is Jodene and I am fundraising for Rex Ann Wirkkala who lost her house and every thing she and her husband owned, to the 4th of July fireworks. The house is a total loss, she and the firefighters saved all of her pets, but they suffered smoke inhalation and ashes in their coats. They are currently at a local veterinarian receiving care, and boarding until she can find suitable housing for the cats. To make things worse, her husband is recovering from major surgery and is still in the hospital.

Rex Ann works for the community everyday helping cats, by feeding, getting them spayed/neutered, TNR for feral cats and more. She currently has 2 kittens that she has bottle raised since 12 hours old, and are now 6 weeks old. She rushed back into her burning house to save them and her other pets.

She needs funding to help pay for the care and boarding of her pets and also to build a secure structure for the cats for when they can come home. Rex Ann is a kind and deserving person, who has lost everything because of careless fireworks.
