DECA ICDC 2023 in Orlando, Florida

Hi! I'm Ethan Fuller, a student at Barry Goldwater and an officer in our school's DECA chapter. DECA is an organization preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs going into fields like marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Throughout my four years of high school, I have competed in competitions against other students via roleplay scenarios that represent real professional problems and situations, where I have to demonstrate my knowledge in business to a judge to finalize and qualify to compete at ICDC.

ICDC is the International Career Development Conference, where I have a chance to compete against the top students across the world in competition. Last year I qualified with my partner, Clara McAdams and we competed in Atlanta Georgia.

I am blessed to have the opportunity to attend this year's ICDC in Orlando Florida! The total cost for the trip is $850, and being a full-time student and planning on attending college in the upcoming year, paying to attend has become a major barricade. This gofundme will be fully used to pay for my trip, and trip expenses. The original cost of the trip was $1600, but since I qualified to compete at ICDC by placing top 6 in state, a portion of the cost was covered by the CTE program at my school.
