Ethan Teague & Landon Woyce
Donation protected
Landon & Ethan are best friends. They are both high school seniors at Chaminade Julienne High School. Both were captains on the football team. They are both on scholarship for football to the same college and intend on being roommates. They are closer than most biological brothers.
The Saturday before Easter they were fishing a private pond in Eaton. Around 4pm that afternoon Ethan lost control of Landon's vehicle after hitting a gravel patch on the back country road. Ethan then overcorrected and hit a roadside tree head on.
It was an incredibly serious accident and both boys are so very lucky to still be with us. The accident report said there was no drinking, speeding, it cell phones involved. It was truly a freak accident.
Landon suffered with a completely shattered pelvis, 2 broken femurs, a broken ankle, severe bruising of his lower abdomen, and bruising around the heart.
Ethan suffered a broken hip, broken ribs on both sides, a broken right clavicle, significant laceration to his right hand, sprained ankle, & very minor internal tears in his lower abdomen.
They both have an INCREDIBLY long road of recovery ahead of them. They are both strong boys with an unbreakable bond that I know will help them in the coming months as they begin rehabilitation.
Both boys will enter a live in rehabilitation facility after being released from the hospital. They will also require accommodations to their homes when they are able to come home.
This is where the GoFundMe comes in. They each will require equipment, home modifications, & continued therapies to get back to the boys we know. The goal is to watch these boys wheel themselves across the stage for graduation next month. Like with everyone else with these kids, they wanted the GoFundMe shared. ❤️
