Ethan Clare - Wheelchair Van Fund
Donation protected
Ethan was a healthy 5 year old boy who came down with a stomach bug in March 2010. He ended up in hospital where he went into cardiac arrest and lost oxygen to his brain for 90sec. From this Ethan suffered a acquired brain injury and is now left with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. To this day he can't walk, talk, see or eat orally. Even though daily life is a fight, he stays strong & brave. One thing he hasn't lost is how to laugh and smile.
Ethan's current wheelchair van has height restrictions and can make it very difficult to go places or find parking. It is also very old and has a lot of problems with it and is not going to last much longer.
Update!!
Unfortunately Ethans vans is no longer working, it has blown the engine. So we really need to raise these funds and fast. Ethan has a hospital appointment for his spine on the 28th April and we would love to be able to have a new wheelchair van by then so he does not have to use public transport after his painful operation.
We can apply for Vehicle options subsidy scheme where we can get $8000 towards a new wheelchair van however we still need to raise another $10,000-$15,000 to put towards this.
If you could please find it in your heart to help any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
