Ethan's Adventure (Kidney Cancer)

Hello, from Team Nelson!

Whether you've been following Ethan's medical journey or are new to his story, we welcome you to the second part of his adventure! Walking by faith, we praise the Lord for His divine hand in every detail of this journey.

In early August, we took Ethan for a pediatric well-visit which soon turned into a cancer diagnosis. While this came as a surprise to us, the Lord already had everything under His sovereign control. A few days later, our sweet boy had emergency surgery to remove his left kidney, ureter, several lymph nodes, & a stage 1 Wilms' tumor (nephroblastoma), which is a rare pediatric kidney cancer. When the pathology report came back one week later, we received the miraculous news that the surgery not only succeeded in removing all cancer cells but also that Ethan would not require any radiation or chemotherapy.

Here's the curve ball... As a result of an insurance coverage gap, we have incurred substantial medical expenses due to Ethan's cancer diagnosis & emergency surgery. During this trial, many have asked how they can help... so we humbly & prayerfully request financial assistance from anyone who would like to join us in this adventure!
