Ethan's Healing: Lighten Their Financial Load
Donation protected
Kevin and Allie's, 10-year-old son, Ethan was very sick starting about six weeks ago with severe stomach pain and vomiting, which came and went off and on for several weeks. They took him to be seen at one hospital and they sent him home inconclusive, same with the second hospital. However, he continued to get worse and worse until the point that he needed immediate care. They took him to Hershey Medical Center and was admitted. He was there for 12 days and after many tests was diagnosed with a liver abscess. Praise to the wonderful doctors that were able to diagnose Ethan! This is not a quick recovery, but he is expected make a full recovery. Over the next 3-6 weeks Ethan will be needing in home IV antibiotic infusions (insurance is not paying for this).
Allie and Kevin have got to be some of the most giving people I have ever met, they are always going out of their way to show kindness and love to others (if you aren't aware Allie just donated a kidney to a complete stranger, this is how big her heart is). I'd love to share the love back to them and bless them with help towards the burden of unexpected medical bills.
Update 1/16/2025
Ethan is back in the hospital with and has a pulmonary embolism and pulmonary infarction. A complication from his liver abscess.
Update 1/17/2025
Ethan was released and headed home, praises! He will need to take blood thinners and antibiotics at home. Let's all pray this is Ethan's last hospital stay and that he has a full/fast recovery.
