“Ethereal”: A Showcase for Trans, BIPOC, First-Gen Artists

My name is Daniel-Jose. I am an artist of many many forms, a grad student, and a huge proponent in making untold stories told. I guess above all I'm a storyteller.

I'm going to have an art showcase/vending opportunity in December I'm calling "Ethereal" (that's the theme of the night). The showcase is highlighting works by trans/gender-expansive, BIPOC, immigrants/children of immigrants (or first-gen) to not only share, but to sell. The goal is to get marginalized artists paid.

The money raised will mostly be going to three main categories: booking a venue, catering (from a woman and/or BIPOC owned small business), and most importantly: providing a stipend and printing opportunities for the artists showing their work that night.
