Ethnic grocery delivery startup

Imagine you’re in a foreign country and want to prepare a common meal from your childhood. You’re struggling to find the nearest supermarket that has those specific foods and ingredients that make this meal so special.
On top of all this, COVID-19 hits.
The GetPotluck team is developing an ethnic grocery delivery service that partners with local ethnic grocery stores to provide international students and communities convenient access to the food items they know and love.
We encourage everyone to experience culture through food!
Unfortunately, we are all suffering in many different ways from this pandemic, international students included. Though this appears to be a time of uncertainty, it’s an opportunity to open our minds towards building solutions around the issues our neighbors experience that are blind to us in our daily lives.
The GetPotluck team has received requests for service through their Facebook page PotluckUD , Whatsapp messages, and Instagram and as problem-solvers, the startup intends to answer. Thus, the startup is raising $35,000 that would help co-founders Abu Kamara and Hope Vega continue to work on this service full-time with all the necessary resources at hand. This helps equip 10 of our local ethnic grocery stores with delivery systems over the next 6 months!
What's your go-to local ethnic grocery store?
#Asian #African #Hispanic #Italian #Kosher #Greek #Indian #Korean #Chinese #MiddleEastern #etc
~ALLINCLUSIVE~
