Eton Wick First School, Play Equipment Fundraiser
Donation protected
This year, we have identified that we would really like to continue to improve our playground and outdoor provision at playtime.
One of our options is a new climbing wall. It will provide a fun challenge for children to ascend, descend and traverse during free play at breaktime and lunchtime developing determination and resilience.
We are still unsure of the total cost of this, due to requiring a soft landing surface
underneath. We are currently awaiting a quote. We would also like to invest in 2 large sets of giant building blocks to improve our outdoor provision on the playground.
This will encourage teamwork and team building whilst encouraging children to stay
active outside. We have one small set in our Early Years, but we know that our children
love to build and create their own assault courses, so this would be a natural progression
from Early Years for the rest of the school, and would encourage our children to work
together. Along with the two sets, we would also need to invest in a small shed for the
blocks to be stored in.
Each set of blocks is £740. A shed would be around £400. A total of £1900.
A very limited budget doesn’t allow us to purchase any resources like the above, so any additional donations or opportunities to fundraise are always greatly welcome to continue to support our children’s education and development.
Thank you, in advance for considering Eton Wick School.
