Max’s Emergency Surgery Fund

Hi my name is Jesica and I am trying to raise funds to save my beloved kitty, Max.

Last night around 10 pm our beloved 5 year old cat, Max, started vomiting blood. We rushed him to the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with a cardiopulmonary diaphragmatic hernia. Which essentially means there is a hole in the diaphragm and now his intestines are in his chest which are affecting his lungs and heart function.

He is on oxygen now and he is stabilizing. However, he will not be stable enough to come home though until he has surgery.

I am applying for Care credit and I am waiting on a decision, but my credit is a work in progress right now. My children and I relocated to Virginia in November to live with family. We had to leave a not so great situation back in California.

Our Maxie is literally our entire world. We have had him since he was a kitten - actually before my son was even born. Max’s biological sister passed away of the exact same issue when she was 2 years old, sadly she passed away while we were waiting for the appointment for the surgery. Our world has not been the same without her in it, and I cannot fathom a world without Max around. He is such a great cat and he has such a loving personality.
