Re: Please help us pave the way, and share this with as many people as you'd like.
Deanna Brizuela is the Property Manager of Eucalyptus Gardens and also the visionary behind the success of Eucalyptus Gardens and needs your help to preserve it.
In order to comply with city code, Eucalyptus Gardens needs to convert undeveloped property into 7 paved parking spaces.
Unbeknownst to many, Deanna funds the property’s expenses through proceeds from her Farm Store fresh market.
Unfortunately, the funds Deanna held in reserve are exhausted, due only in part to the costs associated with maintaining and beautifying the property, funding repairs, being lenient on tenants rents as they grew, build-outs of shops, and daily upkeep of the property.
Besides the costs of maintaining and beautifying Eucalyptus Gardens, she’s also responsible for the property’s rent and the property taxes.
We have a very limited time to pull the funds together and to complete the paving of the 7 parking spaces in order to comply with Wilton Manors’ codes.
If funds can be raised, the Farm Store license will be renewed, Zen Orchids will reopen, fundraisers and events will be approved, as the other businesses licenses expire they can be renewed, and many of us can regain our livelihoods.
Pocket change donations under $10 go a long way!
$25 Donors receive a Friends of Eucalyptus Gardens T-Shirt.
$100 or more - Donors receive a Eucalyptus Gardens T-Shirt, Hat, and 20% discount card with unlimited use at The Farm Store for 1 full year :) (Not to be combined with other offers.)
"Friends of Eucalyptus Gardens" is a brand new fundraising platform that we have begun to help people, small businesses, and organizations in need. We will be listing people, charities, and organizations, for you to choose which cause you would like to support. Everybody could use a little help at some point in life, and "Our" time is now. Eucalyptus Gardens has fought very hard for 2.5 years to comply, build, beautify, employ, promote, and entertain, at this amazing 3 acre hidden gem.
Our goals are to offer a healthier way of living, while educating people on how to do so. We enable and empower small businesses, offering them a pathway to recognition and prosperity. We then guide them through the licensing, and labeling process to get their product on shelves when ready.
We support local farmers, artisans, artists, musicians, local business and such to bring health, beauty, entertainment and much more to the Wilton Manors Community.
We hold fundraisers throughout the year, including our Wilton Manors Wine and Food Festival. 1st annual was donated to Poverello, 2nd Annual was donated to Gummakonda Reddy Foundation and 101+ Abandonded dogs of the Everglades, and this year we will be donating to Gummakonda Reddy Foundation, Sunserve, and Mad Art Village "hopefully!"
We need to Raise $15,000 to gain 7 more parking spaces, and easement. $15,000 includes, obtaining permits, hiring an Architect, purchase & delivery of 3,500 square feet of permeable pavers, the base for pavers, cost of the labor/ installation and disposal of existing ground.
Thank you all for always supporting us.
Sincerely,
Deanna Brizuela
