Hello, my name is Eugene Butler Jr., and it is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved father, Eugene Butler Sr. While we are still trying to understand what happened, one thing is certain—he was an incredible person who touched so many lives. My dad was more than just a father—he was a loving grandfather, stepfather, brother, uncle, soccer coach and friend. He had an enormous heart. For many years, he dedicated his time to coaching young players, not just teaching them the game, but guiding them with the values of teamwork, respect, and perseverance. He went

above and beyond to ensure every child had a positive experience, focusing on both their growth as players and their personal development. He was a role model who believed in the potential of each player, and his influence went far beyond the soccer field. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially me, his son, and his grandson. His love and generosity were unmatched, and it’s hard to imagine life without him. Due to the sudden nature of his passing, we are faced with unexpected funeral and service costs, and we want to ensure he receives the proper tribute he deserves.
