Medical Bills & living expenses after an accident

Y'all, say prayers for speedy & total healing for this sweet goofball! On November 25, 2023, just 2 days after Thanksgiving, a falling tree catapulted him from a boom lift. After hitting the ground from about 30 feet up, he was diagnosed with 12 broken ribs, a punctured lung & a broken collar bone. As extensive as his injuries are, the outcome could've easily been far more devastating. That evening, after being transported to the hospital & several hours in the ER he was put into ICU so they can monitor the right lung & respond quickly if it started to collapse again. We are so thankful that there are no spinal fractures, no brain injuries and other than the punctured lung, no internal organs were damaged in the accident. It so easily could've had a FAR different outcome! He's hurting, but he's conscious & even cracking a few jokes! He had surgery on November 27th to repair the broken collar bone, but due to the nature & location of the rib fractures, he isn't a good candidate for them to be surgically repaired. This means that his recovery will be a challenging one. Eugene is self employed, with no health insurance & a long road to recovery. We don't yet know when he'll be able to return to work, or how long he'll be hospitalized. We truly appreciate any help you can offer, including prayers!
