Eugene “Gino” Mathews

Those that knew Gino know that he was kind, funny, caring and a very loving father to his 6 children, Gino Jr., Jelina, Dominic, Angel, Elijah and Scarlett. Even thru difficult times he would always do his best to provide for them and do whatever he could. Writing this, I, Gino’s older brother, find it hard to put into words. I never thought I’d have to help put him to rest before myself. We don’t come from much money at all, and we would like to do something nice for him. I cherish all the times we shared, all the ups and downs of childhood and life in general. Unfortunately, funeral expenses are very pricey and we obviously weren’t prepared. We are hoping to raise enough funds so his friends and family can have a service and say their goodbyes. Any remaining money would be divided to his children. We are very heartbroken to have to bury my brother at such a young age. My heart bleeds for his children especially, and for my Mother Debbie as well.
