Help Us Support Veterans on Their Journey to a Fulfilling Life.

I am Eugene Martin, a U.S. Veteran. I proudly served my country as a member of the U.S. Navy. My experiences during my naval career and my time after being discharged from the military had a deep impact on how I live and feel, and act the way I do. The transition was difficult—mentally, emotionally, and physically. It took time, treatment, and tremendous support from the West L.A. VA to help me regain stability and rediscover purpose. I had a lot of difficulty adjusting to a normal lifestyle, which is still hard at times, but thanks to the knowledge I gained, the personal growth I've gone through and help that I've received over the last 50 years, I have come to understand what Veterans really go through during and after their service and I would like to do my part in helping and giving back that what was given to me, passing it on to others for an easier, softer way of transitioning back in to a normal lifestyle.

That's why on January 21st, 2025, I founded the Veterans Foundation Relief, a nonprofit organization created to give back, support and guide other struggling Veterans to get access to the right information and resources to help them face the difficulties of trying to adjust to civilian lifestyle. The journey to overcoming what many have faced in military service and combat situations is challenging, especially for Veterans recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder that emerged during or after their time spent serving our country.

Our Mission

To support Veterans in their transition back to civilian life by connecting them with resources, providing information, access to food, water and housing, as well as treatment options, and giving them the community support they need to heal, recover, and thrive.
