Burglarized School-Please help
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Hannah - I volunteer at Eugene Sudbury School, an independent K - 12 school in Eugene, Oregon. Over the weekend, our school was robbed. The items that were stolen include computers, most of our art supplies (including sewing machines and a pottery wheel), our classroom projector, outdoor equipment, and several board games, books, and toys.
While we are working with insurance, school starts in a little over a week and without help from the community there is no way that we can replace the items that were stolen in a reasonable amount of time - and many items we may not be able to replace at all.
So far we have estimated the loss to be around $5,000. This only includes the "used" value for most of the items (what we could buy used right now), and not the full replacement value for new items.
We know that this is going to devastate our students, and we would really love to be able to start the school year with all of the activities they loved last year still available, and spare the students the shock of seeing their school emptier than it should be.
Kind Regards,
Hannah
