Cancer Medical Bills

Hi beautiful humans! I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Patty Seaman as she kicks breast cancer's ass. Patty is hands down one of the most incredible humans I have ever known. She has worked as an advocate and an adoptive mom to many as they journey out of sex work, sexual exploitation, addiction, and domestic violence. She spent eight years volunteering for the non-profit Peace Promise before being hired as the official Executive Director, and the love and compassion for others is in her very bones. Patty has become the mother to those who have been motherless, a fierce Mama Bear who is always ready to encourage and support her girls through challenges and setbacks. But you don't need to be one of Patty's girls to know how incredible she is. Patty is one of those special people who will offer support and understanding while also sharing wisdom and insight you might have missed, but always in a way that offers freedom and choice.

On September 15, 2022, Patty had been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer which is not responsive to hormone therapies however, chemotherapy will be needed. This has been caught early enough that she has been able to get a lumpectomy to remove a mass, and has started treatment on November 28th, 2022. She has to have 8 cycles of chemotherapy (January 9, 2023, is her 3rd chemotherapy treatment) then will move on with radiation treatment after that. The funds that are raised through this GoFundMe for Patty will be allocated to her medical bills, medications, co-pays, and some living expenses surrounding the time Patty is treated for breast cancer.
