In Memory of Veteran James Kilgallon
Donation protected
Yesterday was one of the most difficult days that my family has had to endure. As we sat in a silent room I witnessed my grieving mother, holding her son's dog tags while her hands were covered in his blood. In this moment I realized that my little brother had become a statistic. A recent study states that a U.S veteran commits suicide every 65 minutes. This is an alarming rate. I am hoping to raise money for my family to allow them the proper time to grieve before returning to work and to help cover expenses that may arise. I am also hoping to invest my time and energy in promoting awareness for programs that are available for veterans during crisis. My husband and I will strive to reach out to veterans within the community and to establish a program in honor of my brother, James Kilgallon and my husband's brother, Daniel Spencer, both of whom gave their lives for this country. I believe there are kind people in this world who want to help others and to keep families from experiencing this pain and I know that many people in my life will support us through this mission. So, thank you and God bless.
