Eunice's Recovery From Surgery

Hi, My Name is Emi and Im organizing this fundraiser for Eunice Lim.

Eunice has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, as well as Neuroendocrine colorectal cancer, coupled with a host of other health issues/complications.

The time has come for Eunice to do a hybrid surgery to help get on the road to recovery. She has been living with many symptoms that make her day-to-day life very difficult. These DAILY symptoms include pain, nausea, and tiredness after any meal. Not being able to eat enough, trouble breathing, constant Indigestion & Heartburn (antacid meds have been causing constant stomach infections) and being forced to sleep sitting up.

Despite having so many severe health issues, she is an avid jiujitsu practitioner and blue belt.

This hybrid surgery will repair a hernia as well as a tiff procedure

The Recovery will require a liquid diet for at least one month & soft foods for the next month (The recovery is longer because she has hEds)

Other documented health conditions: hEds (hypermobile

Eherles Danlos Syndrome) psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, POTS, neuroendocrine colorectal cancer, anaphylaxis & severe asthma

Other health conditions being checked for are cervical cancer & mast cell cancer.

The money would be used for bills & special food since everything will have to be blended down. It will also cover anything else needed to help her comfort & recovery

UPDATE 7/28/23: Eunice is 3 weeks post op & has been having some complications & a lot of pain. Last week she had to have 2 ER visits from the recommendation of her surgeon & they discovered a distended gallbladder that’s causing her to be in more pain. We’re raising the goal a little bit as this will be a set back & also to anticipate more restrictions & supplements & just items she may need. Thank you all for your support
