European Veteran's Showjumping Championships

Hi, I’m Jason, and I’m fundraising to help my amazing wife Faye and our horse Heron represent the UK in Germany at the European Veteran’s Championships from September 6-12, 2022

Many of you know about my near-fatal brain aneurism and subsequent complications last year. You may not know that Faye and Heron had been selected to jump for the UK in the European Veteran’s Championships when I was still in intensive care, critically ill in John Radcliffe hospital. Unfortunately, therefore she had to withdraw. A year on, my incredible life-saver wife and the amazing Heron have been selected for this year’s UK team, and come hell or high-water, I’m sure you’d agree with me that they MUST GO! Since my brain injury, I’ve spent the last year in recovery, and Faye has been supporting us both financially as well as being my constant companion and carer, without a word of complaint! Given the situation and such a worthy cause, I’ve put together this GoFundMe appeal to raise £4000 to get Faye and Heron to Germany so they can compete for the UK at the European Championships.
