Eva and Garison

October 29, 2022, began as a normal Saturday. We were on our way to visit good friends when I (the driver), my husband, and my infant son were involved in a very serious automobile accident. We were t-boned in the driver's side door. Thankfully my husband and son were completely fine. I, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky. The amount of injuries I sustained is still unclear to me. I was immediately transferred from Muskegon Mercy hospital to Spectrum Butterworth Grand Rapids hospital for a week's stay. I had three major surgeries and am currently at Mary Free Bed. My time here is still to be determined, but I'm as determined as ever to get out of here to be home with our son and my husband. There will be adjustments that need to be made to our daily life and home, so I can be as independent as possible while healing and learning a new normal.

With all that being said, this go fund me page will be used first and foremost towards meeting our 2022 deductibles and installing and purchasing items needed to allow me to live a "normal" life around the house. The remainder would be used towards 2023 deductibles and a replacement car.

Thank you so much for all the prayers and support we've received. We are truly blown away by how the body of Christ has been there for us and will continue to be. Even in the midst of all the pain and suffering I'm going through and will continue to go through, God is good!! He's given me life, a smile, a body that isn't paralyzed, upper body strength, a memory and mind that still function, and so much more. My daily goal has been to look for glimmers of hope and miracles I can thank God for with everything we're going through. What a mighty God we serve!!
