Evacuate the Shoman Family from Genocide to Safety

Hi, my name is Khaled and I'm living in Germany. I am fundraising to rescue my uncle family the Shoman (Mostafa, Nehal, Nadeen, Nourhan, Ramadan, Mohammed, Retal, Yousef, Ahmad) from the brutal war taking place in their home of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Family in Crisis:

the Shoman, are in extreme danger due to the military bombardment of their hometown of Rafah. There are daily bombings and attacks; the city is no longer safe for them. The Shoman have not been able to work for four months due to the war in Gaza and are just scraping by on minimal food and water, little electricity, all while experiencing constant fear and shock of bombings around them. Several members of the family have urgent medical needs and their lives are in danger every moment. Prices have soared in Gaza and it's a daily struggle for them to meet their basic needs.

The Shoman family have asked us to help them cross the border into Egypt where they can begin a journey toward rebuilding their lives. Time is of the essence! Help us get them across the border into Egypt so they are safe from the increasing, indiscriminate attacks on their city of Rafah.

Breakdown of Funds:

It costs $9,000 per adult to cross the border into Egypt, $63,000 total for all of them.

We hope to surpass the fundraiser by $3,000 to help cover GoFundMe fees and international transfer taxes. All additional funds will go to interim travel expenses such as food and a temporary rental in Egypt.

Meet the Shoman:

(Mustafa Shoman), 55 years old, my mother (Nihal Shoman), 40 years old, (Nadeen Shoman), 24 years old (Ramadan), 21 years old, (Muhammad), 16 years old, (Youssef), 9 years old, (Ahmed), 4 years old, (Nourhan), 22 years old and (Retal), 14 years old.

We are all live in Gaza except my sister, (Nourhan), who is studying medicine in Zagazig - Egypt, we have no communication with her because the siege imposed on Gaza in this war. My father used to send $400 a month as tuition and housing fees, but since October 7, due to the situation, my father has not been able to send her any amount of money. She is now alone, an expatriate, without any breadwinner, and we fear for her about completing her studies due to the lack of sufficient money needed to complete her study, as prices are high during the war. My father can barely provide a living for my family members who are in Gaza.

My mother (Nehal) suffers of stomach diseases. Before the war, she went for treatment in Egypt and was scheduled to return again to complete her treatment there, as she needed an urgent surgery, but now we do not have enough money to cover her travel expenses, and we all hope that you will help her to travel and complete her treatment.

My father (Mostafa) is a man who suffers from high blood pressure and a heart, and because of the current situation in this war, his health and psychological condition has deteriorated. He is like any father who is unable to provide the simplest natural necessities for our family, such as food and drink. Especially the situation of my expatriate sister alone without any supporter.

My older brother (Ramadan), is the most optimistic person in my family, but he is like any young man who lives Gaza Strip. He has no future and no work, and he has been striving for some time to travel abroad to work to provide a decent life for himself and the rest of our family.

(Mohammed, Retal and Youssef) are students at the school; They lost their education like the rest of the children in Gaza, and they still have a smile on their faces despite the consequences of this brutal war.
