For those of you that have reached out to me asking about Evan and sending prayers, thank you, thank you thank you. They are so appreciated and needed. Today we finally got an update from the Dr’s.
Saturday night Evan was brought to Samaritan ER after complaining of back pain and shortness of breath for about 3 weeks. (Was Misdiagnosed by urgent care and his primary)
After an X-ray they saw that he had fluid between his R lung and chest wall. They put in a chest tube and drained about 2 1/2 liters of fluid out. Sent it out for testing and we still have not gotten the results back yet. He was transferred to St. Peter’s on Sunday morning . CT scan yesterday showed the fluid is lessening but there is still a lot of junk in there. Tomorrow they are doing surgery to remove the “junk” and send it out for testing. Although he is stable and is breathing better, he is still not out of the woods yet. PLEASE PLEASE continue to pray for this poor kid. He’s been through too much in his short 27 years of his life. I will be setting up a go fund me for him since he will be out of work for some time and won’t be getting a paycheck to cover his monthly expenses. This mama is heartbroken

Shoutout to Samaritan ER staff and St. Peter’s 6th floor staff they all have been AMAZING!

Thank You,
Evan’s mom, Cindy
