Evan’s Transplant Relocation Fund

Some of us know him as Zest, some know him as Evton B of Indubious - others within his family know him as Evan. A beautiful, big-hearted healer and helper, father, brother, son and husband.

We all love him dearly.

13 years ago he received a lung transplant, and candidly and boldly let the world witness the process with a mission to help others understand their own beauty and strength. He gave selflessly of his music and life on a mission to help others.

Today, Evan and his family are asking for your help.

Transplanted lungs do not last forever, and over the past couple of years Evan’s health has been slowly showing signs that his lungs have been declining. After catching a very bad flu, this progression has sped up and he has not recovered - escalating the rejection that has been ravaging his body.

He is currently in the process of being relisted for a second lung transplant. We are fortunate he has the medical assistance and attention he so desperately needs.

While his insurance will cover the transplant, his family is in dire need of housing in SF both before, and after his transplant. They will need to uproot temporarily to see him through this process, and be by his side as he finds his strength again.

We are asking everyone who has been moved by Evan to dig deep and give what you can to his family in this trying time. You are helping support Evan in recovery, and in allowing his family to be by his side while he fights for his life.
