Evelyn Rose Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Evelyn turned one in January. She had a major 5-hour long surgery February 21 to fix a colorectal malformation she was born with which went well and she appeared to be off to a good start. A day after she went home she became lethargic and spiked a fever. She was septic and needed emergency exploratory surgery of her abdomen and was not expected to live through the night. Evelyn is on life support and has been fighting and showing us she plans on staying right here. She is in very critical condition and will need another surgery this afternoon to look for diseased bowel and to flush out her abdomen. She has a mountain in front of her but we are confident with prayers and good medical care she will get through this horror. Mom (Ashley) is not leaving her side anytime soon and has already used all her available PTO for the original surgery...dad has some PTO he can use to get him through the next week. Evelyn will be here for only God knows how long and will also need another surgery after she gets beyond this to remove her colostomy. The hope is the money raised here will help alleviate the pressures of no income so the bills can be paid and the focus can be on the care and recovery of Evelyn. If you could please share and donate as able. For everyone praying for Evelyn, thank you, and please continue!
