Evelyn Rose Reyes Medical and Funeral expenses.

Hello my name is Antonia and I had the privilege to be Evelyn’s mother. Evelyn worked a full time job and worked until she couldn’t work anymore due to her Illness. Evelyn was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 4/26/23, later we found out it had metastasized to her liver, she started treatment in May. On June 13th she received her first aggressive treatment for the cancer she got 4 chemo meds in a 6 hour period. On June 18th I took her to the ER and she was admitted into the hospital and was treated for a fever and blisters in her mouth, they were very painful. We also found out she has a very low number in regards to her white blood cells. They gave her platelets. Soon after she began with her hands changing color and blisters that began to surface all over her body. She was in excruciating pain. At this time the Doctors Diagnosed her with Steven Johnson Syndrome. A very rare side affect to Chemotherapy. This syndrome burned her body from the inside out. My Baby girl suffered tremendously the last two weeks of her life. It’s like it melted her skin off. She did not deserve to go through this, but she was brave and had so much faith she would get through this. Her family is asking for donations to cover all her medical and funeral expenses, any amount you can donate will be appreciated. Evelyn you will always be in our hearts, we will love you forever.
