Evelyn's TiM Band
Donation protected
At around 4 weeks old I noticed Evelyn's head was a slightly funny shape. After bringing this up with various health professionals I was advised it would correct itself on its own. She's now 7 months old and is classed as the most severe 1% of infants for asymmetry of the head. This is known as plagiocephaly or flat head syndrome. This could effect here gross motor skills, lead to needing speech and language therapy and difficulty in wearing glasses or a bicycle helmet and could potentially lead to surgery. I have recently taken her to Technology in Motion who will be carrying out TiM band treatment. Unfortunately this treatment is not covered by the NHS and will cost £2085. Her asymmetry is so severe she may end up needing a second Tmi band but for now I'm focused on the current treatment which starts on 10th August, Evelyn and I would be forever greatful for any donation, big or small to help with the cost.
