Evelyn Ramirez Journey Home: Legal Help Needed

My sister Evelyn Ramirez was in an accident in the beginning of 2024 leaving her in a coma for months. The first time she ever opened her eyes was when my little sister and I went to go see and support her in El Paso, TX . Because my mother and her have a federal lawsuit against the El Paso Police Department, they refuse to give my mother guardianship over her when my mother raised her, her whole life while her father was

mostly absent. Judge Eduardo Gamboa in El Paso probate court 2, gave her dad guardianship even though she said herself that she would prefer to be with our mother because she is “more welcoming and open” to her and stressed the fact that she misses us so much.  My mother has finally gotten an attorney after 11 months of searching for one since no attorney in Texas wanted to take the case. The attorney requires a payment of 10k to start the process of getting guardianship of my sister to bring her back to us in NJ/NYC. If we do reach our goal, anything over 10k will be used for medical expenses, transportation, etc. Please donate whatever you can. Wjust want to see my sister again.
