Every Girl Must Play: Donate To Our Scholarship Fund!

We are STRIKE LEAGUE – Oklahoma’s first flag football organization dedicated exclusively to the girls of Oklahoma City. Since 2021, STRIKE LEAGUE has provided a safe space for young female athletes to learn the basics of football and play without competing with boys. In the summer of 2024, we marked our first season, crowning the first-ever all-girls football champion in the state of Oklahoma.

The Gap

Girls’ youth sports turn a profit through the competitive club circuit by charging large sums for children to participate from a very early age. Unintentionally, this results in a homogenized talent pool, weeding out marginalized girls and athletes of color as they can’t afford private coaching and monthly out-of-state tournaments to keep up with the competition. So much talent is lost to this gap, and we want to close it.

All sports, particularly football, are better when more people play, especially girls. We want girls from all walks of life and economic backgrounds to have access to the premium football experience and community that STRIKE strives to provide. With your help, we can be sure that football is accessible to all, regardless of financial means.

We aim to provide scholarships for 30 underserved athletes, allowing them to participate in the 2025 spring and summer sessions of STRIKE LEAGUE at no cost.

The total cost per player is $217 per season. This includes registration for the spring session and a personalized uniform.

Should we surpass our goal to outfit 30 athletes, the remaining sum will be used to fund scholarships in future sessions, officiating fees, field maintenance, and equipment, elevating the overall experience for players and fans alike for the 2025 calendar year.
