Everest Base Camp for Charity

Hello,

My name is Helen Baverstock, I'm living in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. On 11th October 2023 I will be undertaking one of the biggest challenges of my entire life...climbing to Everest Base Camp!!!

This adventure will take me to a staggering elevation of 5364m (17,598ft)!!

I created this page in order to raise funds that will be distributed between the following:

-Adolescent Counselling in Carrigtwohill

-CarrigAware (a voluntary group who promote postive mental health & wellbeing in Carrigtwohill)

-Carrigtwohill Meals on Wheels

All of whom would benefit greatly from this funding and could use it to improve the lives of people in the village.

This will undoubtedly be the most physically and mentally challenging endevour I have ever undertaken in my life.

I would very much appreciate any contribution, big or small, that you can make and the above organisations will put these funds to great use.
