Everett lost his Dad and now his Sled

This is my nephew Everett. He is an incredible, 10 year old boy who suddenly lost his father (Tucker) due to asthma just before Christmas. Everett and Tucker both shared a passion for snowmobiling and loved the thrill of shredding through the snow of our Montana winters. Tucker's pride and joy other than his wife and children, was his Sled. Everett was graciously given a small used Yamaha Bravo snowmobile for his birthday one month after his father's passing thanks to his uncle Russell. Just like his father, this sled quickly became Everett's pride and joy and I'm certain that riding it was a way for him to reconnect with his Dad. Last week, with a little help, Everett was able to get his Sled out for presumably the last measurable snow fall of the year, almost a foot! As we pulled into the driveway to unload the Sled, Everett was waiting outside with his helmet. He made the best of that last snowfall until he ran out of gas and had to walk home. He walked all the way back with the gas can and kept on sledding. Unfortunately, Everett, like any young boy, must have had trouble getting all the fuel into the tank and the following morning, as he was right back outside riding, it somehow caught fire and thankfully, he was unharmed. The sled however, was not so lucky and it burnt up beyond recovery. Tough break for a kid going through probably one of the hardest things he'll ever have to experience, the loss of a father and best friend at age 10. My goal is to raise some funds to help find Everett a new sled that he can ride until he's big enough to handle his Dad's sled. Any little bit helps.
